3. Finish taking pictures
4. Choose your 3 best "rule of thirds" pictures and your three best "lines" pictures.
5. Create a page on your wiki (wetpaint) for each of these topics and post your pictures on the corresponding page.
6. Write a paragraph about each group that describes how the pictures exemplify the photography rule you were trying to follow.

1. Blog - (OPTIONAL PROMPT: Chewbacca is a Wookie from Kashik. He has long fur and wears bandilleros to hold his weapons and ammo. Chewbacca was created by George Lucas to look like his dog. Your job is to create your own alien. Model the alien after something (or someone) found in your home.

Picture Analysis

1. Find AT LEAST three of the following DO NOT do the same TYPE of line TWICE:

Horizontal Line
Vertical Line
Diagonal Line
Converging Line
Man-Made Line
Shadow Line
Natural Line - made by natural features such as rivers and streams, although not necessarily straight, have the same effect as they wind through a scene into the distance
Assumed Line - formed by the layout of features or objects in a scene, such as stepping stones across a stream.

2. Write a PARAGRAPH describe how each of the pictures you found FITS the description you've given it.

#1 - Blog - MANY of you have not been doing your 5 BLOGS PER WEEK!! DON"T LOSE CREDIT!! DO A BLOG EVERYDAY!!

#2 - (if you have not finished this) Locate three pictures online and write a paragraph explaining how each of them fit the rule of thirds. Post your three pictures and your paragraph on your blog (IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE THIS IT IS LATE).

#3 - OPEN AN ACCOUNT AT http://www.flikr.com/ (you should upload ALL the photos you have taken so far onto this website) (DUE TODAY - give Mrs. Martineau your flikr address)

#4 - OPEN A WIKI AT http://www.wetpaint.com/ (you will use this as your photo portfolio) (DUE TODAY - give Mrs. Martineau your wiki name/address)

#5 - Sort through all of your landscape pictures and choose your best three that best exemplify the rule of thirds. Write an explaination about each picture as follows: Artist, Date taken, Place taken (explaination on how it fits the rule of thirds).

#6 - CREATE a page for your best "RULE OF THIRDS" pics on your wiki and display your pics and analysis on your wiki.
